Compliance and Operational Assessments
Following the instructions provided by the directing legal counsel; whilst satisfying the requirements of the Expert Witness Code of Conduct at Schedule 7 of the Uniform Civil Procedure Rules 2005, detailed hydraulic compliance and operational assessments are conducted on hydraulic and wet fire related services.
These assessments are conducted to identify the extent of substantiated compliance or operational defects present within a hydraulic and wet fire service design and installation.
Our Written Assessment Process
The assessment process to determine suitability of hydraulic services in line with requirements of the Home Building Act 1989, the Environmental Planning & Assessment Regulation 2000, the Plumbing and Drainage Act 2011 and the Designers and Builders Practitioners Act 2020 is extensive, with forensic onsite investigations, design documentation performance analysis and compliance analysis with regard to Australian Standards, Codes, Industry Handbooks or Manufacturers requirements.
Litigation Reports
The assessment process enables development of litigation compliant reports, supplementary reports, reports in reply, joint reports and scotts schedules that meet the requirements of the Land & Environment Court, NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal, the Supreme Court and the Coroners Court.
The written assessment process is supported by our hydraulic experts experience and past recognition in joint conclaves, mediation and in court evidentiary proceedings.
